Why I Started Writing Again After 5 Years
The Blank Page
It's been five years since I last wrote anything meaningful. Five years of ideas swirling in my head, never making it to paper. Until now.
What Changed?
Last month, I found an old journal from college. Flipping through pages filled with hopes, dreams, and half-formed ideas, I felt something stir inside. The pages were yellowed, the ink fading in places, but the emotions were still vivid.
I realized something important: I missed writing. I missed the clarity that comes from forcing vague thoughts into concrete words. I missed the discovery process - how writing often reveals what I'm really thinking, even when I didn't know it myself.
My Approach This Time
I'm keeping it simple:
- No expectations - I'm writing for myself first
- Consistency over intensity - Better to write 200 words daily than 2000 words monthly
- Embrace imperfection - Done is better than perfect
What You'll Find Here
I plan to write about:
- Life lessons and reflections
- Game reviews (I play a lot of games!)
- Book recommendations and thoughts
- Occasional tech-related musings
This isn't a monetization strategy or a brand play. It's just me, writing again.
What about you? Have you ever taken a long break from something you loved, only to rediscover it later?
